Arkansas Farmers Union is a progressive, grassroots organization founded in 1905.
AFU is dedicated to sustaining our rural communities, to wise stewardship and use of natural resources, and to protection of our safe, secure food supply. We support our goals through education and legislation, as well as by encouraging the cooperative model for mutual economic benefit.
MISSION
To advocate for the economic and social well-being, and quality of life of family farmers, ranchers, fishermen and consumers and their communities through education, cooperation and legislation. Arkansas Farmers Union advocates sustainable production of food, fiber, feed and fuel.
VISION
Arkansas Farmers Union will continue to be the respected, influential and independent national voice and coalition leader that bridges family producers and consumers on behalf of a vibrant and growing grassroots membership.
